FAQ

Patients interested in dental implants ask the following questions:

Will having a dental implant make any difference to natural teeth?

No, the difference is almost imperceptible.

How long does the procedure involving the implant take?

Of course, the duration of the procedure depends on the number of implants placed. The implantation of one implant takes approx.1 hour. The length of further treatment is an individual matter for the patient and depends on the structure and condition of the bones and the planned number of implants.

Is the procedure painful?

The implantation procedure itself is performed with anesthesia (local anesthesia), i.e. the same as that used for tooth extraction, and this is enough for the patient not to feel any pain. In the case of large implantation procedures, from several to a dozen or so implants, we offer the procedure under sedation. Therefore, the procedure is almost painless and is even more gentle than extraction, i.e. tooth removal.
